Daniel P. Murphy

Dan Murphy has acquired substantial expertise in the area of construction law.  His practice also includes litigating cases in the areas of commercial law, complex civil litigation, and criminal defense.

Mr. Murphy has tried more than 125 jury trials and more than 50 bench trials.  His practice concentrates on the representation of general contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals in construction litigation, arbitrations, and contractual matters.
Mr. Murphy has achieved an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating in Martindale-Hubbell®, a distinction that recognizes preeminent legal ability and the highest standard of ethical conduct.  He was recognized as a “Colorado Super Lawyer” by Law & Politics Magazine in 2010 and 2011.

As a former deputy district attorney for the 18th Judicial District, Mr. Murphy was responsible for the prosecution of felony, juvenile, and county court matters.  During his work for the District Attorney’s Office, he was recognized for “Outstanding Contributions” as a Special Prosecutor for the City and County of Denver.
