Amy E. Cook-Olson
Amy Cook-Olson focuses on defending physicians, nurses, hospitals, healthcare institutions, and corporations involved in medical negligence claims and employment matters. In addition to litigating claims in state and federal courts, Ms. Cook-Olson also represents attorneys, healthcare providers, and other licensed professionals in administrative licensing hearings. She has tried more than 50 bench and jury trials.
Ms. Cook-Olson serves as an advisor to several healthcare-related corporations and has defended class action lawsuits on their behalf. She has also represented clients in personal injury and products liability matters. She is experienced in appellate practice and has appeared before the Supreme Court of Colorado and the Colorado Court of Appeals. Formerly, Ms. Cook-Olson served as public defender and clerked with the State Attorney’s Office in Chicago before entering civil practice.
